Field guide
Finding your way
Use the fixed navigation above the scene for your character, travel atlas, journal, inventory and martial arts. The right panel follows your location or encounter. Travel through the atlas; discovered requests appear in the journal. In battle, select an action, preview a tile and click to execute; defending, healing and ending a turn take effect immediately. Open Saves for local backups and cloud copies. Escape closes a panel and returns focus; a journey you paused stays paused.
An illustrated jianghu
Open the map for an illustrated atlas with travel hours, activities and discovered leads. In each location, hear a local story, consult the named person, return to choose an approach, then ask for the outcome after an hour. The journal separates chapter objectives, personal leads and lasting consequences. These stories are optional and do not change the ending requirements.
Companions and the three journeys
Each companion shares a personal story at friendship 30 after a chapter milestone; their panel lists the requirement. Either resolution grants affinity once and stays in later conversations. Cargo crosses loading decks, medicine climbs short ledges, and the kiln route has timed vents: red is hot, gray is safe. All routes keep checkpoints. Martial-art cards show costs, shapes and equipment requirements; the combat forecast changes with speed and unused action points.
Begin with a life, not a legend
Choose an adult character’s origin, gender, appearance, trait, and talent. Li and Nu begin attached to a master; other origins have different resources. Your face changes first impressions, not your worth. Talk to the people around you and read your journal before setting out.
Roads carry people and information
Travel advances the clock. A report is immediate where it is witnessed, but takes days to reach another place. Concealment changes what a search finds, not your legal identity. The black market sells forbidden goods at higher prices. Li cannot legally buy weapons or metal tools; ordinary deeds cannot change Li status. A Nu can redeem a contract for 60 copper after helping the registry clerk and securing his witness.
Tactics and lightness
Each fighter gets three action points per turn. Moving one tile costs one; striking or healing costs two. A palm strike reaches one tile, a technique reaches three and costs three inner energy. A nearby ally improves damage. End the turn to pass control. In side-scrolling journeys, jump between platforms, dodge guards, and strike at close range. Checkpoints persist; reaching a completed exit never pays twice.
Save your own copy
Guest play stays on your device. Export a JSON file to keep a portable copy. Cloud upload is a deliberate action after signing in. Conflicts retain both versions. Old Wuxia journeys are archived; they cannot enter the new story with old statistics. A recovery phrase belongs only to this site, never to your cryptocurrency wallet. No email is sent, including password recovery.
